- Inflating the units of analysis
- Spurious correlations
- Use of small samples
- Circular analysis
- p-hacking
- Multiple comparisons
- Over-interpreting non-significant results
- Correlation and causation
Be ready to identify statistical mistakes for scenarios that will be presented in class.
